Thanks The radios were as advertised and shipped in a good time and arrived in great shape.
We are going to have to return these as we have tried everything to get the rechargeable batteries to hold a charge. These walkie talkies would be good if only the batteries would hold a charge.
Very pleased all the way around with this order. Super fast shipping and delivery. Out of the box and onto the charger. Very simple and easy to use and they worked like a charm.
I expected them to last at least 8 full hours, but they did not. We stayed on the family channels, since none of us is licensed by the FCC.The only drawback was that the power packs ran down too fast. We had to resort to cell phones for the last few hours of the trip to communicate. We used these 2-way radios to communicate between cars while on a long trip. They worked well, but we did not attempt to check the distances.
We received the order promptly. The Uniden 20way radio appears to work very well. Plan to use while on a cruise if separated from my spouse who has memory problems.
